It’s time for USPGA Championship golf tips.

This year the event is being held at the Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester, New York.

The East Course has been used twice for the USPGA….

Shaun Micheel winning in 2003, and before that Jack Nicklaus (the Golden Bear) won in 1980.

The course has also hosted three US Opens (1956, 1968, 1989) and one Ryder Cup (1995).

Rory McIlroy is the defending champion…

The young Irishman winning the title at Kiawah Island 12 months ago.

But his recent poor form will put many golf tipsters off making McIlroy the most likely winner this time around.

So what are the best USPGA golf betting tips?

Tiger Woods, the No.1 player in the Official World Golf Rankings, looks set to go off the favourite with the bookies (click here for the best USPGA golf odds)…

However, Tiger is without a major title in 5 years now. His last win coming way back in the US Open 2008.

The main contenders, at least with the bookies, are the 2013 Open Champion Mickelson, the current US Masters champion, Adam Scott, and the reigning US Open champion, Justin Rose.

All are near the top of the list and for those sports betting tipsters who provide professional golf betting advice… these guys will be under some serious consideration.

And my golf betting expert, Keith Elliott

Not only did he advise Mickelson for the Open…

But he also advised Rory McIlroy (WON 20/1) for the USPGA last year. In fact, he also gave Martin Kaymer (WON 60/1) as a winning USPGA golf bet in the 2010 championship!
